The Pramac range is wide and covers from 2.2kW petrol generators up to 3000kVA containerised diesel generators. The portable Pramac range is designed with professionals in mind – tough, rugged and ready for work. All using original equipment engine and alternators from renowned manufacturers like Honda, Yanmar, Leroy Somer and Mecc Alte.
A particularly good feature of the portable range is the sound reduction canopy on the 3000rpm diesel units – both as ‘silent’ and ‘super silent’ – these are used in applications such as mobile catering and construction sites where highly reliable power is required.
Original equipment component manufacturers mean that spares are always available wherever the generator is used.
The standby range is larger but no less quality; designed for customers that know the price is not the only thing that is important when choosing a diesel generator – quality, ease of service, spares and service back-up are more important aspects of owning a critical piece of equipment. People who have bought other brands have switched to Pramac they realise how long these generators will last.
Pramac use international brands of engine – Perkins, Volvo, FPT / Iveco and Yanmar to name a few. All of them are reliable with years of service in the field.
Pramac’s highest specification is the Rental Range – using the same engines and alternators as the Standby units but with acoustic canopies that have added features to ensure they last in the harshest of environments. Also added are high capacity fuel tanks, additional filters, three-way valves for external tank connection and socket outlets.
The Rental range also boasts low emission engines which are necessary for this market in the UK and Europe. Currently at Stage IIIa but very shortly a range of Stage V ultra-low emissions engines will be announced. These will be required for all non-road mobile machinery applications (NRMC) and of importance in the low emissions zone of central London.
