2 x 500kVA Diesel Generator Project Export to Bangladesh

We are proud to have recently sold two 500kVA diesel generators to a prestigious project in Bangladesh – ETL Ltd – one of Bangladesh’s premier nationalised companies.

The project comprised of two off Excel Power 500kVA Generators XL500P units which use Perkins 2506A-E15TAG2 engines coupled to Newage Stamford alternators; each enclosed within a high quality acoustic canopy. These 500kVA diesel generators were set up for synchronising with Deepsea 8610 controllers, motorised output MCCBs and a final 2000A  automatic transfer switch.

Of particular note in this project was the inclusion of a remote communication and overview display (DSE8004 module) and from this panel you can start and stop each set as well as seeing loading, fuel levels and many other parameters.

The customer visited us to undertake witness testing and was more than happy with the performance and testing regime. 100% load on each unit before 75% for 1 hour as a synchronising test.
